Is it time to get back in the water?

If it's been a while since your last dive and you are looking to head off on holiday. Then the LSD Scuba Review program is the perfect way to refresh your skills at our centre in Chertsey, South London. We know that you are already a certified diver so relax and enjoy this stress free session in our 32°C heated pool. Private one to one sessions are available upon request as are class times outside the scheduled slots.

Our Scuba Review course is designed to cover a majority of the skills you would have learnt on your initial open water course. So this is ideal for those who have either been out of the water for 12 months or 12 years. PADI also have a program called ReActivate which can be tagged on to either of the LSD Scuba Reviews as an optional extra (currently £60) for those who want to refresh some theory and receive a new certification ecard.

Upon arrival at LSD we will review the paperwork that is sent after booking. This will include a self-assessment medical, which can be viewed here. All you will need to bring to the session is a towel, some swim gear, your paperwork and your certification card or logbook. LSD provide all the dive kit needed for the session but you are most welcome to bring along any of your own kit to test out. We are 20 mins walk from Chertsey train station, or 5 mins drive from the M25 and M3.

If you would like to refresh your diving theory and receive a new certification ecard please see our optional extra PADI ReActivate in the tab below.

Can I refresh my diving knowledge?

Once you have chosen the date for your Scuba Review you can opt in to Reactivate your scuba cide whether you would like to refresh your knowledge from the PADI Open Water Diver Course before jumping back into the water.

You conveniently review scuba concepts on your tablet, mobile device or computer, then go diving with a PADI Professional. It’s quick and easy, and a good way to prepare for your next PADI course or get ready for a diving vacation. The best part is, divers who complete both the knowledge and in-water skill refresher receive a replacement certification card with a ReActivated date on it.

Any certified diver who wants a refresher or pre-travel update should ReActivate. Dive shops appreciate seeing a recent ReActivate date on your certification card because it means you’re ready to dive in.

reactivate cardYour PADI certification does not expire. Participation in PADI ReActivate™ is not mandatory, but recommended as an easy way to refresh your foundational scuba safety knowledge and skills if you haven’t been diving in a while. Divers who complete both the knowledge and in-water skill refresher receive a replacement certification card with a “ReActivated thru” date on it.

What will you learn?

ReActivate eLearning® you’ll immerse yourself in dive scenarios and make decisions that test your understanding of important dive safety concepts, dive planning essentials and problem management. Move through ReActivate at your own pace and delve deeper into topics when you need or want to.

In the water, your PADI Professional will help you regain comfort and confidence in scuba diving. You’ll practice a few safety-related skills and then go over anything you specifically want to review.

How can you start learning now?

After selecting your preferred dates for the Scuba Review you can choose to add-on the ReActivate eLearning® to your booking. We will then send you a digital code to create your PADI account and start your theory.
