The PADI Full Face Mask Specialty provides the safety, technical and practical knowledge needed to become a competent and comfortable full-face-mask diver.

Begin with a pool orientation to understand the mask system, then demonstrate the required skills in open water.

Course Details

  • Minimum age: 15 years
  • Prerequisite: Open Water Diver
  • Duration: 2 days
  • Day 1: pool orientation and classroom theory
  • Mask fitting and adjustment
  • Mask-removal techniques
  • Day 2: open-water training at Vobster Quay or Surrey Hills Dive Lake
  • Skills practice and exploration of the dive site
  • Price: £250

Important Information

  • Lake entrance: £15
  • Air fill: £7, with 1 required
  • Bring food and drinks or money to purchase them
  • LSD does not provide transport to the open-water site; car sharing will be sought but cannot be guaranteed
  • A Scuba Review is required if you have not dived within 12 months: £99, normally £109
