The Emergency First Response Instructor course develops the teaching skills needed to deliver EFR Primary Care (CPR), Secondary Care (First Aid), CPR & AED and Care for Children training.
It is for people who want to teach emergency-care skills to divers and non-divers using internationally recognised emergency-care guidelines.
Eligibility and programme focus
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Current EFR Primary and Secondary Care training, or qualifying CPR and First Aid training, completed within the previous 24 months
- Course organisation, learner support and practical scenario-based teaching
- Develop confident presentation and skills-evaluation techniques
