The PADI Wreck Diver Specialty introduces the skills and safety knowledge needed to explore sunken ships, lost history and the marine life that now lives around them.
Develop disciplined wreck-navigation and reel techniques while learning to assess hazards and preserve these historic sites.
Course Details
- Minimum age: 15 years
- Prerequisite: Advanced Open Water Diver
- Duration: 1 day and 3 dives
- eLearning: approximately 3 hours
- Meet: Vobster Quay at 10:00 midweek or 09:00 on Saturdays
- Location: Vobster Quay

- Assess wreck stability and potential hazards
- Complete underwater challenges to enhance your skills
- Price: £275
- Wreck Diver – Extra Day: £100. If you have not completed the Wreck adventure dive on your Advanced Open Water Diver course, add the extra day when booking; it is taken on an earlier Vobster day
- Winter (November to April): the PADI Dry Suit Diver specialty is required. If you need a suit, dry suit hire is £40 for the course, added at checkout
Important Information
- Lake entrance: £26 (£19.50 for Vobster members); see vobster.com
- Air fills: at least 2 required; one fill per lake day is included, and extra fills are £8 each, paid at the lake
- Bring food and drinks or money to purchase them
- A Scuba Review (£135) is required if you have not dived within 12 months — get £20 off when booked at the same time as your course with code SR20
- Bring your latest certification card, logbook, towel and a timing device rated to 30 metres
- LSD does not provide transport to the open-water site; car sharing will be sought but cannot be guaranteed
