The PADI Deep Diver Specialty opens access to wrecks, seascapes and marine life beyond the 30-metre limit of Advanced Open Water training.
Learn the techniques and equipment needed to dive safely to the maximum recreational training depth of 40 metres, guided by our senior instructors over three dives at Vobster Quay.
Course Details
- Minimum age: 15 years
- Prerequisite: Advanced Open Water Diver
- Duration: 1 day and 3 dives
- eLearning: approximately 3 hours
- Meet at LSD to arrange equipment before travelling to the dive site
- Location: Vobster Quay or Surrey Hills Dive Lake
- Perform underwater challenges and learn safe ascent rates
- Practise using safety equipment and explore the dive site

Important Information
- You must have dived within the previous 6 months or complete a Scuba Review before the course
- Drysuits are highly recommended because of the depth and conditions
- Lake entrance: £23
- Air fills: £7.20 each, with 2 required
- Bring food and drinks or money to purchase them
- LSD does not provide transport to the open-water site; car sharing will be sought but cannot be guaranteed
- Be prepared for an early start
