The PADI Dry Suit Diver Specialty lets you remain comfortable in colder water and opens access to excellent diving in the UK and other cooler regions.
Learn to use the drysuit as part of your buoyancy system, then apply those skills during two open-water dives.
Course Details
- Minimum age: 15 years
- Prerequisite: Open Water Diver
- Duration: 2 days
- Online theory included
- Day 1, 09:00–12:00: drysuit pool orientation at LSD in Chertsey
- Practise putting on and removing the drysuit and mastering buoyancy control
- Day 2, 08:30–15:00: open-water training at Vobster Quay or Surrey Hills Dive Lake
- Apply the pool skills during two open-water dives, including buoyancy control and weight placement
- Drysuit maintenance and exploration of the dive site

Important Information
- Lake entrance: £20–£23
- Air fills: £8 each, with 1 required
- Bring food and drinks or money to purchase them
- LSD does not provide transport to the open-water site; car sharing will be sought but cannot be guaranteed
- A Scuba Review is required if you have not dived within 12 months
