Course Details
- Duration: 1 day
- Times: Saturdays at 08:00, with other times available on request
- Manual for home study
- Meet at LSD to arrange equipment for the dives
- 2 dives if already PADI Advanced Open Water certified
- Methods for estimating distance underwater
- Compass navigation while making at least five turns
- Mark or relocate a submerged object or position from the surface
- Underwater map-making and exploration of the dive site

Important Information
- Lake entrance: £10
- Air fill: £3.50 at the lake
- Wetsuit boots required when training in summer
- Wetsuit gloves required when training in winter
- Basic Scuba Review: £49 if you have not dived within 12 months, normally £69
- Scuba Review Plus: £79 if it has been more than 24 months, normally £99
- LSD does not provide transport to the open-water site; car sharing will be sought but cannot be guaranteed
