Step Into the Past – Explore the Mysteries Beneath the Surface

The PADI Wreck Diver Specialty takes you into the world of sunken ships, lost history, and marine life that now call these wrecks home. Whether it's a wartime relic or a purpose-sunk artificial reef, wreck diving offers an unforgettable experience filled with adventure and discovery.

The UK is home to some of the world’s most fascinating wrecks, ranging from shallow sites to deeper, more challenging dives. This course equips you with the skills, techniques, and safety knowledge needed for wreck exploration while preserving these historic sites.

Course Details

Minimum age - 15 years old
Pre-requisite - Advanced Open Water Diver with the Wreck Adventure dive
Duration - 1 days - 3 dives
eLearning - approx 3 hours
Meet at LSD to arrange kit for the dives
Dive location - Vobster Quay, Sommerset
Wreck navigation and exploration techniques
Reel use for penetration and safety
Assessing wreck stability and potential hazard
Underwater challenges to enhance your skills

LSD does not provide transport to the Open Water dive sites. We will make every effort to try and get you a car share with another student but if this is not possible you will be expected to make your way to the site by your own means.
