Could you help?
The PADI Rescue Diver course helps divers to look beyond themselves and to start thinking about the welfare and care of others. The course will teach divers with more experience about techniques in preventing problems and awareness of potential dangers before, during and after a dive. This is a rigorous and rewarding course which is practically based.
This course is run in conjunction with the Emergency First Response course. If you do not already have a valid CPR/First Aid course you will need to attend an EFR course at our centre, prior to completion of the Rescue Diver course.
The Rescue & EFR Course here at London School of Diving is split over 2 full days. For the first part of the course we head out to Wraysbury diving lake which is a purpose built diver training lake around 15 minutes drive from the dive centre. Here you will learn the practical rescue skills from tired diver at the surface to responding to an unresponsive diver underwater.
In the afternoons once back at the center we will then progress through you CPR and First aid skills which involves a few lifesaving scenarios followed by an exam.
For the academic work we register you for the online Rescue eLearning. You will need to read and complete the sections. Please make sure this is completed before your dives and you bring with you your e-record.
Price £479 for the Rescue Diver with EFR, if you have current CPR training (within 24 months) then the Rescue Diver by its self is £359. This includes your online theory and final e-card certification. You will receive a code from us within 24 hours which you will use to start your web-based study at PADI.com.
