Rescue Diver is easily my favourite course ever. I was SO tired afterwards though, slept VERY well every day of that 4 day period.

When do you dive there

What’s the visibility? I’d like to find somewhere to finish my dry suit qualification - to date I’ve only dived overseas (apart from completing my open water over here in a dry suit, although didn’t enjoy it as it was so murky) I’m now advanced, and completed my rescue, deep dive, nitrox & DPV qualifications & feel it’s time to give the UK another try🥴

I recently completed Open Water Diver Part A and would recommend learning with LSD for anyone interested in diving. Mads was an excellent teacher, helping us through each of the lesson objectives and making sure the whole day was good fun. Had a great day, looking forward to Part B.

Very professional outfit. My daughter and I did our Part A Open Water session today with Mads, and had a great experience. Very clear and patient instruction. I did the same course many years ago, but found this session much more helpful. We are excited to do our Part Bs in a couple of weeks. London School of Diving is highly recommended!

Me and my partner recently undertook try to dive - loved it, the instructor was awesome, helpful and so patient! Explained everything perfectly and answered any questions we had! Facilities were great and clean! Highly recommend and we will definitely be using london school of diving for our next steps in scuba! Addition - have now completed OW through LSD - great course, great instructors and great location. Cannot recommend highly enough! Thank you again!

I had a great experience at LSD. I haven’t dived in 10 years and did a refresher course which was great. My instructor Mads was very thorough knowledgeable and most importantly made the session from start to finish fun! Mads made me feel very welcome as this was the first time diving with LSD and the session was great. Great dive centre, great facilities and great instructors.

I did my scuba review with Mads at London School of Diving having not dived in 2+ years. It was a great refresher session and Mads helped to revise all the key skills and drills as well as adding in additional tips & tricks. Exactly what I needed before heading out for an upcoming dive trip! Thanks Mads & the LSD team!

I recently took my Dry Suit course at LSD. My instructor in their pool, George Elliott, is an excellent instructor. After the pool session David and George instructed me in Andark Lake. This wasn’t an easy dive due to no viz with silt, but George took me on the final part of the dive and kept me calm enough in the ‘murk’ to do a ‘roly poly’. Thank you George and LSD.

Had a great experience completing the Part A of my Open Water cert with Andy and Aldo. Both created a relaxed environment which made it much easier to learn each of the required skills, and I never felt rushed. Would highly recommend if you’re looking to kick start your scuba diving learning!

I had a great experience doing my PADI diving course with Andy. He was highly professional, knowledgeable, and reassuring throughout, while also bringing plenty of humour to the experience. He made the course enjoyable without ever compromising on standards. A real pleasure to learn from, and definitely a credit to the diving centre. Highly recommend

I visited LSD on a Sunday afternoon with my 3 adult sons for a introduction to scuba diving and were greeted by Chris who was super friendly and put our minds at ease as he introduced us to the gear we would be using and answered all our questions. Once in the pool he was very patient as we tried to get to grips with clearing the goggles underwater. Once all the basics had been covered we had some fun time swimming at the bottom of the pool and doing handstands. We all left the building saying how we had really enjoyed the day and may look into moving onto the next stage of learning in the future. We highly recommend this company and the services they offer to anyone wishing to experience something new or to improve the skills they have gained previously.

Excellent refresher session this morning for my son Leo, 12, who got his PADI OWD certification in Lombok last August, and before another trip in a few days. Luke was very nice and encouraging, the session went very well. Thank you LSD for opening the center for us just before Christmas, and all the best to you and your families for the holiday season.

I just completed my dry suit training with LSD, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. George and Luke were absolutely fantastic instructors. Knowledgeable, professional, and supportive every step of the way. Not only did I learn so much, but I also had an incredibly enjoyable diving session with them. I highly recommend LSD for anyone looking for top notch training and a great diving experience. A big thank you to George for providing such exceptional training and making the whole experience so memorable!

Recently did my Part B at cherstsey dive centre. As somebody who has chosen to start diving at 59 I was very nervous. George our trainer was brilliant. Explained everything clearly and had the patients of a Saint! When I panicked about removing the mask he calmed me down and didn't make me feel foolish. The centre is well organised and clean. Everyone is super friendly, even the resident dog. If you want to give diving a go, this is definitely the place to start.

Madeline at LSD is an absolute star—professional, patient, and thorough. I attended a discovery session and she happily demonstrated techniques I wasn’t familiar with, as many times as needed. I’d highly recommend her as an instructor.

I recently did a scuba refresher at the London School of Diving and had a fantastic experience. The facilities are top-notch – clean, modern, and well-equipped, with a heated on-site pool that’s perfect for training. The staff were incredibly professional, friendly, and thorough. My instructor, Madeline, was clear, patient, and made sure I felt confident with all the essential skills. Everything was well-structured, unrushed, and safety-focused. Equipment was in great condition too. Highly recommend LSD for anyone looking to refresh their skills or continue their scuba journey.

Just recently finished the PADI open water diver course with London School of Diving. The facilities for the first part was perfect in the small pool and large 3m pool at the headquarters in Chertsey. George was my instructor for the first part, making the whole experience enjoyable and inspiring confidence by taking each new skill step by step, making sure I learnt at my own pace. My second part of open water was undertaken at Wraysbury Lake near Heathrow, and what a fantastic 2 days it was. Swan, Roxy and George were my instructors and they did everything to make sure my experience was enjoyable, whilst gaining all the necessary skills I need to stay safe in open water. The second day had a great dive exploring all the interesting sights at the bottom of Wraysbury Lake. I can not recommend this course highly enough for anyone thinking of taking their first steps into a wonderful world of adventure underwater. Big thanks go out to Swan, Roxy and George.

Recently undertook the PADI Open Water Part A course, in the pools at the LSD centre. Prior to attending the information and direction to the theory course was well signposted, and I managed to get that completed before undertaking the first of the two-part course. Luke is a kind, considerate and courteous instructor, who allowed all attendees plenty of time and space to complete all aspects of the course without feeling pressured or incapable. He really understands that, for the novice diver, just being under water is a potentially frightening experience (even in a swimming pool). There was plenty of time to go through all of the tasks, and I feel confident proceeding to the Part B, in the knowledge that my skill level (although completely novice) has been tested to a level whereby I feel confident progressing to the open water of the reservoir. I can't wait to continue the next stage of my scuba journey, and I look forward to doing so with the team at London School of Diving.

I recently completed my rescue diving and emergency first responder course with LSD and it was such a great experience. I felt a bit nervous going in but I couldn’t have asked for a better experience everything was so clear and informative but also fun, I feel a better and confident diver already and it feels great knowing I have now obtained the skills to deal with emergency situations, thank you to Luke and David for being such great instructors.

I have completed my open water and advanced water courses during the last two months and LSD have been fantastic, so much so that I will be becoming a member to do regular guided dives every month or two to keep my skills up and build on my confidence. I can’t recommend the team enough for their knowledge, patience and making me feel safe and welcome during my courses. In particular I have to give a big shout out to Amy, Andy and Luke who have been present at all of my dives so far. They are absolutely fantastic and a real credit to LSD. During my advanced course I had an issue in one dive where I used too much energy to get to the bottom because I didn’t weight myself correctly. Whilst under the surface Amy and Andy made me feel safe and kept a close eye on me. That dive taught me a valuable lesson and I’m really thankful to both of them for teaching me valuable skills/ lessons. I will be coming back to do my peak performance bounancy in the next month and I look forward to being on guided dives in the near future.
