Specialty of the month – Dry suit Course January 23 – £149 £129

Not all of the world’s best diving is in warm tropical waters. In fact some fantastic diving can be found on our own doorstep in the waters around the coast of the UK.
As these waters are somewhat cooler than their tropical counterparts additional thermal insulation is required to view the fabulous wrecks, varied wildlife and stunning panoramas of temperate waters. The dry suit specialty course teaches you to safely use the ultimate in exposure protection.

You will receive a manual as part of the course.

In the morning you will be fitted into your dry suit, once down at the lake you will be taken through a dry suit orientation in the shallows, to get you familiar with the equipment.

You will then need to complete two open water dives, where you will learn different buoyancy techniques using your Dry suit and BCD, also a few tips and tricks like somersaults.

This will be done over one day at Wraysbury dive site, 20 minutes from LSD.

* Not included are transport to the dive site, entry and air fills which are payable locally. Please note that damage to dry suits during use will be charged to the diver responsible.
