The PADI Open Water Referral is a great way to save time on holiday by completing the classroom based theory and pool sessions before you go or if you wish to split the full course over some time.
The referral is broken down into two sections and carried out completely at our centre in Chiswick. For the theory part you will be sent an Open Water manual which has 5 chapters, each with a knowledge review that needs to be completed before arrival at LSD. There is also a table for dive planning that has an instruction manual.
The confined water sessions are onsite in a split level purpose built scuba training pool that is a balmy 33 C and it is here that you will learn your basic scuba skills under the direction of a senior LSD Instructor.
EFR & Rescue Course £275 £350
EFR & Rescue Theory February 7th
Rescue Practical February 14th and 15th
We have a great saving on the Emergency First Response & Rescue Diver Course combo taking place in February.
The Rescue Course helps divers to look beyond themselves and to start thinking about the welfare and care of others. The course will teach divers with more experience about techniques in preventing problems and awareness of potential dangers before, during and after a dive.
Most divers find this practically based course to be one of the most challenging and the most rewarding.
This course is run in conjunction with the Emergency First Response course. Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) teaches participants how to respond to life-threatening emergencies. The course focuses on primary care through a combination of knowledge development, skill development and realistic scenario practice to make sure participants have the confidence in their ability to provide care when emergency situations arise. Emergency First Response Secondary Care (first aid) covers injuries or illnesses that are not immediately life threatening.

By breathing more Oxygen and less Nitrogen when you dive you extend your bottom time. Less Nitrogen equals more dive time and more fun! In this classroom based specialty course you will learn how to safely analyse and dive with Enriched Air Nitrox as well as the equipment considerations to take into account when using enriched air.
Sign up for the most popular PADI Specialty course for just £79 in January.
Dry Suit Specialty £119 £149
January 2015
We are lucky enough to be surrounded by water in the UK and have excellent diving opportunities from massive seal colonies on the Farne Islands to wrecks in Scotland! Diving in a Dry Suit means you can enjoy dives in the UK and other cooler climates that just wouldn’t be enjoyable in a wetsuit.
This 2 dive Speciality course takes place at Wraysbury and you will learn to perfect your buoyancy, how to get yourself out of tricky situations and how to care for and maintain the suit.
At only £119 in January this is definitely a worthwhile course for all UK Divers.
