The PADI Open Water Diver course is the world’s most popular scuba diving course and has introduced millions of people to the adventurous diving lifestyle.
The PADI Open Water Referral is the first half of the course consisting of some Theory to understand the basic principles of scuba diving and Confined Water Dives where you learn and practice your scuba diving skills in our on-site heated pool.
We are offering a huge discount on our next midweek referral session on 22nd April and you can choose from either of the following options:
Confined Water & Online Study – £119 + PADI Registration Fee (Normal price £149 + PADI fee)
PADI Open Water Referral eLearning option is becoming ever more popular for those looking for a flexible way to fit scuba certification into your busy schedule or if you just prefer web based learning. After registering with PADI for eLearning you will be able to access the online theory sections at your own pace in the luxury of your own home.
You will then come in to the centre and go through the confined water sessions where you will learn your scuba diving skills over 1 afternoon in our on-site heated swimming pool.
To use the eLearning method you will need to register through the PADI website using the link below. Please also make sure you have registered London School of Diving as your referral centre.
There is a Online PADI registration fee of £106.00 ex VAT. This covers the cost of the online course and certification card processing fee.

Confined Water & Manual Self Study – £199 (Normal price £249)
PADI Open Water Referral option is a one day course which runs from 10:00 am to 6pm (approx).
You will receive the Open Water Diver manual and DVD which you will work your way through before attending the academic and pool sessions at our custom built dive centre in Chiswick, London. We have three state of the art classrooms where you will review your knowledge development chapters from your manual, sit 4 quizzes and final exam.
Before we start your in-water training you will be asked to swim 200m and perform a 10min survival float.
At the end of either referral option you will receive your training paperwork, at which point you can then move on to the Open Water Completion either here or abroad in order to obtain your dive license:
