Movie Night - 18 September 2017 @ 1900
Welcome to our first ever Club LSD movie night!
After asking you guys to vote for which movie you wanted to see we are very pleased that we can now show you the new movie " The Odyssey" about the life of Jacques Cousteau here at the centre before the public release on DVD.
The "screening" will start at 7pm on Monday 18th September and we will ask for a £5 contribution on the night for some drinks and snacks.
Here’s a short synopsis for The Odyssey:
The story of the world’s most famous undersea explorer, the pioneering Jacques Cousteau. Spanning a decade of his life, Cousteau (Labert Wilson) is a husband to Simone (Audrey Tautou) and father of two. But he’s also a restless adventurer, dedicated to taking his invention – the aqualung – and his vessel, the Calypso, across the world’s oceans. When his son Philippe (Pierre Niney) returns from boarding school, he finds Cousteau greatly altered by fame and megalomaniac dreams. Conflict inevitably arises. But on their greatest adventure together aboard the Calypso, in Antarctica, they will find each other – before tragedy strikes.
